Women Alike

Women Alike, Antigonish Chapter was founded in November, 1997. We are an educational and support group. Meetings are comfortable and informal and open to all females with a cancer diagnosis, cancer survivors and their support persons. Come share stories, learning experiences and humor and rest assured that it is highly confidential.

We are here to address your concerns about:

  • Facing the diagnosis
  • Types of treatment
  • Your family and their reactions
  • Survivorship

We have educational programs with guest speakers followed by a support social session. The meetings are comfortable and informal. We share stories, learning experiences and humor. We develop friendships, ongoing support and good rapport between members. Confidentiality is a high priority.
