East Richmond Walkabouts

The Walking Club established in 2005 to encourage communities to get active. Later the group joined the Heart and Stroke walkabout program and became the East Richmond Walkabouts. Walking increases individuals physical activity, is a social opportunity, improves mental health, and can help to reduce the risk of chronic conditions such as heart disease and stroke. This is a program of the Dr. Kingston Memorial Community Health Centre.
