Living through mental illness by...

Being who you are, Doing all you can for yourself and your community, and Becoming all you can be

This is a program offered by GASHA Mental Health Services providing information, assessment and intervention to enhance the quality of life for those adults living with a chronic and persistent mental illness. Learn about 'Journeying through to Recovery' from the effects of mental illness.

Services are provided under the Psychosocial Rehabilitation Philosophy, which emphasizes individual strength, wellness, empowerment, capacity building, and community integration.
The ‘Being Doing Becoming Clinic' is facilitated by Mental Health professionals: community mental health nurses, social workers and occupational therapists.

Who is it for?

Adults living with a chronic and persistent mental illness.

When and where is it offered?

Takes place weekly, Tuesdays, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Health Connections Room, People's Place, 283 Main Street, Antigonish, B2G 2C3

Does the program require a referral?

A referral from a physician is not required.
